What will my child learn?

The Cambridge Early Years Curriculum supports, physical, cognitive, communicative, social, and emotional aspects of development. This content is divided into six learning areas, but are connected and can be taught together.

  1. Communication, Language, Literacy: Children will be encouraged to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
  2. Creative expressions: Children will be able to express their ideas, creativity and build on their experience, in and outside the programme through art and design, music, dance and drama. 
  3. Mathematics: Children can discover Mathematical thinking and Mathematical language through engaging activities that link to their experiences, in other curriculum areas and outside of School.
  4. Personal, Social and Emotional Development: Children will develop social learning and friendship, learn to regulate their emotional response and build self esteem and confidence.
  5. Physical Development: Children will develop various movement skills through play based activities for a healthy and active life.
  6. Understanding the World: Children’s natural curiosity is aroused and they learn, reflect, question and interact with the world around.

How will our children benefit from the Programme?

The children will be able to express, clarify and develop their own ideas and respond positively to the ideas of others.

Responsible: Children will take responsibility of their own thinking, learning and emotions and interact positively with other people’s similarities and differences.

Reflective: They will reflect on their own ideas and that of the others and be able to tell whether it is good. And they shall begin to understand how their reflection and feedback can help them to develop new ideas.

Innovative: Children will start interrogating about the world around them and try different strategies to meet challenges and solve problems.

Engaged: Children occupied in research will develop knowledge, understanding and skills through social interactions and collaborations.

What is Cambridge Primary? (Age 6 to 11 years)

Cambridge Primary is an education programme for young learners (Age 6 to 11 years). It blends a World Class curriculum with high quality support from teachers. 

Cambridge Primary is part of Cambridge International curriculum created by The Cambridge Assesment International Education, a globally recognized provider of International qualifications.

On successful completion of Cambridge Early Years the child goes up to Cambridge Primary for Age 5+ to 11 covering Classes 1 to 5. This segment has a clear adaptable curriculum with options for assessments with support and resources to develop the insight to understand potentials. It has 11 subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, Art & Design, French, Hindi and Well Being.

Cambridge Primary is where the excitement increases. Children develop confidence, responsibility and innovation. Each of the 11 subjects help the child with definite characteristics of a student. Digital Literacy helps the child to develop skills in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. The outcome is they learn to communicate effectively. Cambridge Primary is unique that it offers Well Being as a subject that develops the understanding of factors that impact their emotional and physical well being.
